This question is one that people oftentimes ask me on a fairly regular basis. And just like so many other people out there they're looking to start an online enterprise. But one major concern always comes into play, and that is basically will they be able to create a quality website and successfully maintain it too.
So if you're one of these people who are on the fence but really want to get into Internet marketing here's one helpful piece of advice I'd like to offer you, and that is that building a website can be a challenge but it's not impossible and really worth it over the long run.
Now that you have your domain you'll also need a hosting account. There are many available, and a lot of them are really good. The most popular right now is host gator. Their plans are very affordable and come highly recommended.
The design of your new site should be pleasing to the eye but also uncomplicated. It would be in your best interest to have your colors blend well with the text, and also your graphics too. Always keep in mind that your visitors main purpose is to obtain information, so no matter how pretty your website may be if they aren't getting the information they're looking for they'll be out of there in a heartbeat. So keep it clean. And keep it simple. And provide excellent content so your visitors come back again and again.
Now let's touch on navigation for a bit. Obviously you want this to be really easy for all of your visitors. If the site is difficult to navigate your visitors will immediately lose interest due to the difficulty of getting to where they want to be on your site.
Don't make it so they have to constantly search your site through a search feature because most people just don't want to do that. They'd rather click a link that immediately catches their eye, so make your links easily noticeable and have been so explain in detail what the visitor will see when they click it.
We all know at this point that content is king, so as stated earlier it's really important to keep your website updated with fresh, unique and compelling content. This will keep your visitors coming back for more.

So establish your customer base and keep them wanting and begging for more of what you have to say. This is a possible guaranteed way to become successful online.
